UPDATE: After @crow.house.gov @cortezmasto.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov and I led 70 of our colleagues in calling out Sec. Kennedy for unlawfully withholding pay from legal aid orgs representing vulnerable kids, we are hearing reports that HHS is finally beginning to process payments.
HOWEVER:
🚨 HAPPENING NOW: The Trump administration is withholding pay from lawyers for unaccompanied migrant children unless they hand over confidential case data on the kids they represent.
