. @governor.ny.gov was entirely right to end the 287(g) agreements because our local criminal law enforcement does not exist to serve as an extension of ICE’s lawless civil immigration dragnet.
Let’s be clear: New York turns over to ICE immigrants who have completed their criminal sentences.
